Last weekend, 26th and 27th of June, the 1st World Cup in Marathon was held in Praga (Czech Republic). The participation of the Spanish National Team was notable, getting in the podium in three out of four boats that took part in the competition.
Manuel Garrido got the best result, finishing second in C1 men. In team boats, Jorge Alonso and Albert Corominas in K2 men finished in the third position, the same as the K2 women, formed by Naiara Gómez and María Pérez Piñeiro.
